  • Day 2

    • After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. You will explore:

      Old Delhi - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi will include visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, you will enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk. More evidence of the ancient times that once existed in old Delhi can be found by moving through the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw. The pleasure associated with the rickshaw ride on your itinerary here is ultimate. The rickshaw pullers here take you on a ride through variousroutes offering you a different experience altogether.

      New Delhi - A visit to the sacred Bangla Sahib, the spiritual place for the Sikh religion where you will see the community kitchen serving food to nearly 10,000 people every day, irrespective of caste, color, sex, and religion. Then drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Residence and will end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

      Later, transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 3

    • In the morning, pick up from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Agra in an air-conditioned car. Visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambiance, the emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met the foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

  • Day 4

    • Early morning at sunrise, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world, surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for 22 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife.

      You will enjoy the most alluring view of the Taj Mahal in the relatively quiet early morning, shrouded in mists and bathed with a soft morning glow as its vast marble surfaces fall into the shadow or reflect the sun, the color changes from soft grey and yellow to pearly cream and dazzling white.

      The Taj Mahal looks milky white in the soft light of early morning. You will not only watch the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising sun, but you will alsoexperience insights about this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife by your guide.

      Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and explore the rich Handicrafts in Agra.

      Later, drive to Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur and transfer to the hotel.

    • Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.

      Amber Fort Palace - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

      Continue sightseeing.

      City Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Devji Temple, and the City Palace Museum.

      Jantar Mantar - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

      Hawa Mahal - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur.Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink are encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

    • Morning drive to Jodhpur. Transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.

    • After breakfast, proceed for a city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Jodhpur - the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also, visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899, and Umaid Public Gardens.

  • Day 8

    • After breakfast, drive to Udaipur en route to visit Ranakpur, the most magnificent 15 th -century Jain temple. The most distinctive features are the 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, of which no two are exactly alike. Continue driving to Udaipur. Arrive & transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 9

    • After breakfast, proceed for a city sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city was built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace Museum, the Jagdish temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari (Queen's resortfor their friends), Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum), and the Pratap Memorial. Later, in the evening, transfer to the airport toboard the flight for Mumbai. Arrive in Mumbai & transfer to the hotel.

    • In the morning, a half-day city tour of Mumbai, the political capital of Maharashtra, and the commercial capital of India, Mumbai is many cities in one. As the world's largest textiles market, a major industrial center, and the country's busiest port handling over 40 percent of India's maritime trade, it contributes around 50 percent of the national exchequer. Mumbai’s colonial legacy is the Gateway of India. Built to commemorate the royal visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911 butonly completed in 1924, the gateway is a combination of European and Indian ceremonial architecture. The last British troops marched out through this gate when India became independentin 1947. Today, it is a favorite haunt of tourists.

    • After breakfast, proceed on a half-day sightseeing tour of Goa, visiting Miramar Beach, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and the city of Panaji-bustling with shops and tourists. The afternoon is a leisure time to relax on the beach. Laze on the beach, go for a swim, explore the shops for cashew nuts, and buy holiday wear.

    • Morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kochi. Arrive in Kochi & transfer to hotel. After the afternoon sightseeing tour of Kochi, you will cover the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry which is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue is at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church is the oldest European church inIndia. The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica was originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have been brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, Willingdon Island, named after Lord Willingdon, is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.

    • Early morning, depart for Kumarakom, one of the most beautiful areas of Kerala. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, a boat ride on the backwaters of Kerala discovering various villages and the life of the locals.

  • Day 15

    • After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to your floating houseboat, a different boat with a bedroom and en-suite restroom for your comfort. Enjoy unlimited surfing on backwaters, sip a coconut, get disturbed by only the chirping of birds and occasional ripples in water, and savor mouthwatering delicacies prepared in front of you by your Kitchen crew. Spend the night on board the houseboat. Enjoy a cruise on the backwater through a maze of canals and lagoons and enjoy freshly caught freshwater fish cooked to your taste on board.

    • Morning, drive to Kovalam & transfer to the hotel. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach in Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamarancruising, etc. In the evening, enjoy the beach.

    • In the morning, drive to Trivandrum & visit the ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy, one of the major attractions in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Napier Museum was built in 1880 and shows a harmonious blending of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese, and Italian architectural styles. Sri Chitra Art Gallery has a good collection of Mughal and Rajput schools of art.

      Later, in the afternoon, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi.
